McLaren have launched their eagerly awaited 2012 Formula 1 challenger, the MP4-27 today at their headquarters in Woking, Surrey.
During a 90 minute live broadcast presented by Sky Sports' David Croft, Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Martin Whitmarsh, Jonathan Neale, Sam Michael, Paddy Lowe and Tim Goss all took to the stage to answer questions from the media after unveiling the new car.
Confidence seems high and the car looks good (and no it doesn't have a funny looking nose like the Caterham). The U shaped sidepods are gone and the design has been described as evolutionary of 2011's MP4-26.
