Shady Records New Lineup

The recent announcement of the new signings to the refreshed Shady Records line up is definitely encouraging.

Slaughterhouse signing to Eminem's label has been in the pipeline for a few months now and was sort of expected but the addition of Yelawolf to the roster was definitely a surprise to most including me.

With the success of the Slaughterhouse album, it was Yelawolf who I was uneducated about. I decided to do some research and downloaded his mixtape - Trunk Muzik 0-60. The mixtape features appearances from Bun-B, Raekwon and Gucci Mane. This was the first material I had ever heard from Yelawolf and I got to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I can only see his move to Shady Records as a positive and I'm sure we'll hear some great music from both Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse in 2011.

In related Shady Records news, I heard a rumour from Illseed over at AllHipHop.com that 50 Cent may be leaving the Shady/Aftermath roster altogether. Don't know how true this is.
