Cut & Paste in OS X

I've been using OS X for a number of years and the one thing that bugged me was the ability to "Cut" and "Paste" using the keyboard. It was always Copy and Paste then delete the original or drag the folder/file with your mouse to it's new location. However, as of OS X 10.7+ (Lion), you can cut and paste as follows:

1] CMD+C - Copy the file
2] CMD+OPTION+V - Moves the file/folder to new location

cut / copy / paste / mac / lion / apple
